Motorola has added a new product to its Moto Things lifestyle collection. Affordable smartwatch Moto Watch Fit, GPS, reaching 1000 nits brightness, stands out with battery life up to 16 days.

Motorola has unveiled the Moto Watch Fit alongside the Motorola Edge 60 Pro and Razr 60 Ultra. Motorola’s new smartwatch is reminiscent of the Apple Watch in design but lacks a digital crown and uses a display with significantly thicker bezels, presumably to keep the price down.

What does the Motorola Moto Watch Fit smartwatch offer?

The Motorola Moto Watch Fit features a 1.9-inch AMOLED display that reaches 1,000 nits of brightness. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Thanks to the built-in GPS module, the watch can record the distance travelled by running and cycling without a smartphone. In addition to counting steps, it can measure heart rate and blood oxygen levels and track more than 100 activities.

The smartwatch is IP68 certified and water resistant up to 50 metres. Motorola says the watch can last up to 16 days on a single charge, but that’s probably the maximum amount of use without the always-on display feature. Moto Watch Fit is compatible with traditional 22 mm watch straps and, as an important detail, can only be used with Android smartphones.

How much is the Motorola Moto Watch Fit price?

Motorola Moto Watch Fit will be available in May with a price tag of 79 euro.
