Coachman. Postcard from 1913

Coachman. Postcard from 1913 intended for sending to England. Publishing house “Richard”, St. Petersburg.

At the beginning of the 20th century, open letters, which can be collectively called “Russian types,” came into fashion. Such postcards reflected the entire diversity of existing professions and nationalities inhabiting vast Russia with their special flavor and in their natural state at that time. Often such postcards were signed “Types of Russia”, “Types of the Volga Region”, “Types of the Caucasus” and others, but there are many that are not signed, but which can also be attributed to this group in their content. And now such postcards are very popular among collectors.
