“Castle” is an American crime-comedy-drama television series that aired on ABC from March 9, 2009, to May 16, 2016.
The series follows Richard Castle, a best-selling mystery novelist, who is suffering from writer’s block after killing off his main character. Castle becomes involved with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) when a copycat killer begins replicating murders from his novels. Intrigued by the detective work and seeking inspiration for his writing, Castle partners with Detective Kate Beckett to solve the crimes.
