One of the scariest serial killers of all time, Jeffrey Dahmer killed at least 17 people from 1978 to 1991. After abducting his victims, he put them to sleep with sleeping pills, photographed them, killed them, dismembered them and ate them!

Here are 20 blood-curdling facts you need to know about Jeffrey Dahmer…

Jeffrey Dahmer was born on May 21, 1960, at Evangelical Deaconess Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

He graduated from Revere High School in 1978.

He then went on to study business at Ohio State University. However, he was expelled from the university due to his low grades and alcohol problems.

Unable to complete his university education, Dahmer joined the army.

He was trained in the army to become a combat medic. It was then sent to the Baumholder region in West Germany. He was also expelled from the army in March 1981, again due to alcohol problems.

He committed his first murder three weeks after graduating from high school.

An 18-year-old teenager named Steven Hicks was Dahmer’s first victim. Dahmer killed his next victim exactly 10 years later.

Some world-famous musicians included Dahmer in their songs

Eminem mentioned Dahmer in his songs “Bagpipes from Baghdad” and “Must Be the Ganja”. Katy Perry sang “Dark Horse” and Kesha named the dreaded killer in her song “Cannibal”.

Jeffrey Dahmer worked many jobs throughout his life

After being discharged from the army, he got a job at a delicatessen. In the following years, he worked in a blood center and a chocolate factory. He even hid the head of one of his victims in his locker at the chocolate factory where he worked!

Large-rimmed glasses, identified with Dahmer, are also referred to as “serial killer glasses”

Because it is known that many serial killers use similar glasses.

Dahmer had to be drunk to kill his victims

Because he didn’t want to kill them! In his own words, these murders were a means to another end. Because of this situation, the relatives of the people Dahmer killed sued the beer company called Budweiser.

Another brewer named Adroit Theory launched the product called “Murder Box”

The package, which consisted of 4 different beers, featured serial killers, including Dahmer, on each bottle.

Jeffrey Dahmer was a class clown in high school

He was entertaining his friends by disguising himself as a clown. He even had his own unique moves, known to all his classmates.

He was making body shapes from prison food

He was referring to cannibalism by squeezing ketchup on the dishes he compared to the human body, and he was reacting with his disturbing jokes. This resulted in Dahmer being killed by a prisoner who could not stand his jokes.

In his youth he was interested in animal mummification.

Human head, human heart and many more human limbs found in Dahmer’s fridge

On November 28, 1994, at the age of 34, he was beaten to death by an inmate named Christopher Scarver.

According to Scarver, Dahmer did not respond in any way.
