Ekmeksiz Natural Park, located on the road from Sigacik Castle to Teos Ancient City, is an enormous natural wonder where green and blue meet.

Sigacik bazaar
Do not think of the Sığacık market established in Kaleiçi as a normal market. All the products sold here are produced by the local people.

Sigacik Castle
Sığacık Castle, located to the northeast of the port, is one of the first structures to welcome you as soon as you enter the district. While some scientists argue that Sığacık Castle was built by the Genoese, some say that it was built during the Seljuk period.
Teos Ancient City
Of course, Teos Ancient City comes first at the top of the list of places to visit in Sığacık. Teos, whose history dates back to 1000 BC, was the capital of the Ionians for a long time. This city, which was an important port city, was the pioneer of maritime trade at that time.
The most important thing that makes Teos special from other ancient cities is that it hosted the artists’ union, which was founded under the name of Dionysos for the first time in history. However, during your visit, you can see the Temple of Dionysus, the work of Hermogenes, the most important architect of the period, the remains of the parliament building known as the Bouleuterion, and the ancient theater with a capacity of 500 people.
