Bob Dylan – Like a Rolling Stone (Santiago-Chile 2008)
It was inevitable to leave the Bob Dylan concert on Tuesday, March 11 and do evaluations. There were people quite terrified of the possibility of a mediocre concert and I confess that since I heard of Dylan’s arrival in Chile, I feared that it would be like that. Given this dilemma I decided to study the situation, I already knew the new album and, in fact, I liked it a lot. My fear was then for the show itself, so I downloaded some bootlegs from the concerts that Dylan was giving in Europe and in the US and they did not impress me much. But once I heard the concert in Guadalajara, my doubts dissipated and I started to accumulate anxiety.

The Bob Dylan concert, announced for April 30 at Movistar Arena, has been rescheduled for Wednesday May 2 in the same venue. The date change is due to the addition of a new presentation in Argentina.
Bob Dylan is a leading figure in music and popular culture for five decades. He is considered one of the most influential musicians and a prolific composer of the twentieth century. His famous work goes back to the decade of the 60 ‘. Some of his early songs, such as “Blowin ‘in the Wind” and “The Times They Are A-Changing,” became hymns for civil rights and anti-war movements. Leaving his initial base in the culture of popular music behind, Dylan revolutionized the perception of the limits of popular music in 1965 with the six-minute single “Like a Rolling Stone.” “Modern Times”, one of their last studio albums, went directly to the top of the Billboard 200 list and became Rolling Stone’s album of the year.
