1. Benedict Cumberbatch

Benedict Cumberbatch was the first person to be called up for the role of Sherlock during the casting. After watching Cumberbatch’s performance in The Prophecy, they immediately invited him to cast him. Thus Cumberbatch became the first and only person to be summoned for the role of Sherlock.

2. Watson-Mary

The actors who played Watson and Mary in the series were also a couple in real life. Unfortunately, Amanda Abbington and Martin Freeman have recently ended their 16-year relationship. In addition, our couple had 2 children.
