JANUARY 8, 1994 – Nirvana played what would be the band’s last US show the Seattle Arena. The band began a scheduled six-week European leg of the “In Utero” tour in February that year, but Cobain overdosed in Rome on March 6th and agreed to undergo rehabilitation. He soon went missing until he was found dead in his Seattle home April 8, 1994.
