The amazing sets of Game of Thrones are the exact studios in Belfast. Some of the well-known interiors such as Winterfell and Black Castle in the show are inside the giant buildings in the city but the exteriors are all around the country. Doune Castle in Scotland is the original space selected for Winterfell house of the Stark family. At the same time, an unaired pilot section that has various actors who are unable to be in the first aired section was filmed in this famous Scottish castle. But due to logistic challenges and lack of studio area, the set was moved to Northern Ireland in a short time. The competitor Outlander used a significant number of Scottish locations but they decided to go back to Skye Islands northwest of Scotland.

Spain

Game of Thrones is actually the name of the first book in A Song of Fire and Ice collection. We have mentioned some of the cold regions above. Now, let’s check the crimson desserts with hot weather. Meereen which is in Seville and a real bull fight ring is used as the fight pit.  Córdoba, Girona and Cáceres are some of the other places in the TV show.
