1- John Francis Bongiovi, Jr. known as Jon Bon Jovi, is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, philanthropist, and actor, best known as the founder and frontman of rock band Bon Jovi, which was formed in 1983.
2- As a child, John attended St. Joseph High School, in Metuchen, New Jersey, during his freshman and sophomore years.
3- Bon Jovi was the one of the founders and majority owners of the Arena Football League team Philadelphia Soul.
4- In 2012, Bon Jovi ranked number fifty on the list of Billboard magazine’s “Power 100”, a ranking of “The Most Powerful and Influential People In The Music Business”.
5- Despite having 27 hit singles in the USA, Bon Jovi, never topped the charts in the UK. The closest they got was in 1994 with their hit single “Always” which reached #2 on the UK chart.

8- He has sensitive eyes against sunlight and cigarette smoke, that’s why he always wears sunglasses. During spring he has allergies and hay fever.
9- Bon Jovi was the last band to play at the old Wembley Stadium in north-west London, United Kingdom. After the act the stadium was demolished and replaced with the one that stands today.
10- In 1980, Bon Jovi was recommended by his cousin to be part of an album called Christmas in the Stars: The Star Wars Christmas Album. He was part of a song called “R2-D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas,” and this was his very first professional recording.
11-Bon Jovi’s fourth album, New Jersey, was actually the very first rock album to be released in the U.S.S.R. pre-Glasnost.
12-So far, Bon Jovi have performed more than 2,700 concerts in over 50 countries around the world. They have organized 17 concert tours in total (from 1984 to 2015).Their last one – “Bon Jovi Live!” marked the first tour without guitarist Richie Sambora and was staged in support of their 2015 album “Burning Bridges”.
